Maximum Strength for a Lifetime of Use
Receiver and forend iron are CNC machined from a solid bar of 4140 chrome-moly steel to withstand the rigors of a lifetime of use. The receiver, with its full hinge pin and a massive locking bolt, serve to balance the gun and contribute to its extremely soft recoil characteristics. A unique ejector system allows for ejection of spent shells, or it can be adjusted to lift only.

Absolute Tolerances & Perfect Balance
The trigger housing and mechanism are also CNC machined to afford absolute tolerances. The hammer and sears are precision EDM wired from hardened tool steel to maintain crisp, consistent trigger feel. Trigger weight is set at a nominal 3.5 lbs. An optional factory release trigger is also available.

Superb Pointability & Minimal Recoil
The Kolar Max Trap T/S features an adjustable ribbed 34” barrel of mid placement design for superb pointability and minimal recoil. The barrel is available in a .740 lite contour.

Precise & Consistent Point of Impact
Point-of-impact is perfected with a rib hinged at the breech and muzzle. This ensures precise, consistent Point Of Impact (P.O.I.). in all conditions. Ribs are of a ramp taper design and are available to allow for P.O.I. of 60% to 120%.

Handcrafted Details
Stocks and forends on all Kolar Max Trap T/S guns are cut from English walnut and are available in right or left-hand configurations. Both are fitted with an adjustable comb and the forend is a beavertail design. The Kolar Max Trap T/S is available in standard grade with engraved configurations to follow.

Dynamic Feel & Pointability
The legendary Kolar Max Skeet available in both Standard and Lite Models allowing the shooter the ability to choose the perfectly balanced shotgun depending on the shooter’s style. Featuring both the fixed ramp tapered rib for the more traditional shooter, and the adjustable ramp tapered rib for the shooter who prefers the advantage of precisely setting the P.O.I. from 50% to 70% while promoting a heads up, eyes level shooting position. Additionally, the hard coated T6061 rib offers a significant rigidity and lower mass. This gives the Max Skeet a dynamic feel and pointability unmatched in a tubed gun.

Maximum Pattern Efficiency
The standard barrels on the Kolar Max Skeet are semi-lite low recoiling .740 lite contour bore, with extra-long forcing cones and factory CTs. All skeet guns are fitted with Kolar Max AAA tube systems. The gun is also available as a matched weight, 2-barrel carrier set.

Precise, Consistent Trigger Pull
The re-designed Stage II mechanical trigger is selectable and adjustable for trigger blade placement. It features a patented interlock to eliminate the possibility of fan-firing. The all coil spring driven Stage II trigger features an enhanced hammer/sear configuration to ensure precise, consistent trigger pull.

The Precision of a Custom Stock
Kolar offers multiple factory stock dimensions allowing the shooter the flexibility to achieve a custom fit out of a factory available stock. This flexibility is unmatched in the industry and is essential for proper gun fit. This allows instant recognition of target line and variance. All stocks are fitted with new L/W titanium hardware and a six-way adjustable comb as standard equipment. A special L/W heel adjuster is optional. When combined with the adjustable comb you have all the precise fitting benefits of a custom stock.

Handcrafted Details
The forend is the traditional beavertail design. Both stock and forend are cut from high-quality English walnut. All guns are supplied in a Kolar hard case.

Max Lite Sporting:
Adjustability, Speed & Precision
The Kolar Max Lite Sporting is now offered in both fixed and adjustable ramp tapered rib configurations. The more traditional fixed ramp tapered rib can be factory set at 50/50 or 60/40 P.O.I. The adjustable ramp tapered rib configuration allows the shooter the advantage of a raised head position for instant target recognition. You also have the ability to precisely set P.O.I. from 50/50 to 70/30. The ribs’ lower mass allows you to get the lighter barrels on the target more quickly for a faster shot.

Tailored for Consistency
The Kolar Max Lite Sporting stock is available in multiple stock options giving the shooter the ability to choose the proper configuration resulting in a custom fit. All stocks are fitted with a standard six-way adjustable comb. An L/W heel adjuster is optional. This results in a tailored, precise fitting stock that promotes a more consistent gun mount. The forend is a traditional Euro design, and both the stock and forend are cut from English walnut.

Combined with extra-long forcing cones and precise taper factory titanium CTs, they provide maximum pattern efficiency and extremely low recoil characteristics. The gun is available with a matched weight carrier barrel and Kolar Max Lite Sporting AAA inserts for sub-gauge events.
