Team Kolar Champions / Trap

Rick Batesko
Rick is 64 years old and shot his first registered targets in 2014. He ran his first 50, shooting an old pump gun and his first 100 with an over and under. Then in 2018, was introduced to Kolar, he was fitted with a demo gun at the Grand American. He said he was looking for something with more adjustability. In just a few years, he found himself President of Ground Swipers Trap Club, President of the Cavilers, Vice President of New Jersey State Trapshooting Association, Scholastic Shooting Sports Foundation Certified Coach, New Jersey State Sub-Veteran Champion in 2018 and 2019 and after two days of shooting, representing the state of New Jersey at the Grand American World Trapshooting Championship, receive the bronze trophy for the “Champion of Champions”. In 2023 he was crowned the Eastern Zone Doubles Champion.
He has been on the New Jersey State Team and one of New Jerseys Top 10 shooter each year, for the past 7 years. Over 30 state titles from Ohio, New York, Pennsylvania, Delaware and New Jersey. And just as many other titles.
